The First Friday Art Walk, held year-round on the first Friday of each month, is a great opportunity to see what's new on the Steamboat art scene, socialize with resident artists and sample fantastic appetizers and spirits at venues throughout town. Held from 5p.m. - 8p.m. the Art Walk has grown from showings at a few galleries to a wide variety of galleries, restaurants and businesses hosting local artists' work. |

| For a Yampa Valley history lesson, this is the place to go. With historical artifacts, memorabilia and imagery, the story of the settling of the Yampa Valley is told. You'll step into a world of western heritage complete with Native American as well as early settler exhibits. | Strings Music Festival | |
| Known for its summertime concerts since opening in 1988, this always popular festival has special events throughout the winter months as well.
